Joint & Mobility

Introducing VeCollal® Type 2

Did you know that osteoarthritis affects over half a billion people worldwide, and one in three women over the age of 50 will experience fractures due to osteoporosis? These conditions can erode cartilage, intensify inflammation, and weaken bones, significantly impacting a person's quality of life.

To combat these debilitating conditions, VeCollal® Type 2 emerges as a groundbreaking biomimetic of human type 2 collagen, the cartilage collagen. This revolutionary formula, coupled with powerful inductors that target genetic expressions, holds the potential to revolutionize bone and joint health

VeCollal Type 2 represents a paradigm shift in the prevention of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, offering a safe, effective, and natural solution to restore joint health and improve quality of life.

Unlike most popular joint supplements such as MSM, glucosamine, chondroitin or chicken sternum collagen, VeCollal® Type 2 is a vegan, sustainable and allergen free solution.

SCIENCE

Why VeCollal® Type 2 was developed

To live an active and healthy lifestyle, it's essential to maintain healthy bones and cartilage.

Healthy bones provide our bodies with the structure and support we need to move around, while cartilage acts as a cushion between our bones, reducing friction and allowing for smooth joint movement.

Without strong, healthy bones and cartilage, our ability to engage in physical activities and enjoy a full and active lifestyle can be significantly compromised.

Several factors can contribute to the deterioration of bones and cartilage, including age, genetics, and lifestyle choices.

As we age, our bone density naturally decreases, making them more susceptible to fractures.

Our production of collagen also decreases, including the production of collagen type 2, which makes up 95% of the collagen found in cartilage.

VeCollal® Type 2 uses a multi-facetted approach to improve joint and bone health.

Using the Artificial Intelligence tool BIOMDRIN millions of interactions between genes, cells and protein/protein expressions were analyzed to formulate an innovative ingredient able to:

- increase bone density

- decrease inflammation

- stimulate cartilage collagen production

- increase joint lubrication

HOW IT WORKS

VeCollal® Type 2 : genes and nutrition

VeCollal Type 2 is based on two major pillars:

1.  Provide the perfect building blocks for cartilage collagen through its biomimetic vegan amino acid profile, meaning it contains the same ratios of building blocks as found in human cartilage collagen.

Currently, chicken bone collagen is a popular source to supplement with Type 2 collagen. This has an amino acid profile similar to humans, but it is not identical and lacks certain essential amino acids such as tryptophan.

2.  Stimulate very specific genes to increase their expression through the use of very specific inductors: Vitamin C, Elderberry extract and curcumin, in specific dosages.

CLINICAL TRIALS

VeCollal® Type 2: rooted in science

Our product development process always follows the same steps: a deeply scientific formulation, followed by in vitro testing and human trials.

VeCollal Type 2 is no exception and we're happy to share a preview of some of the results we've already obtained.

IN VITRO TEST RESULTS

IN VIVO TEST RESULTS

The first human trial on VeCollal Type 2 yielded some amazing results on bone density and joint pain and motion, confirming the first in vitro results.

The protocol

SAMPLE

•VeCollal II sachet (5 g/day)

DOSAGE

•1 sachet/day

SUBJECTS

•Total 10 adults

INCLUSION CRITERIA:

•Above 20 years old.

•Adults with joint discomfort or has high risk for bone fracture (low bone mineral density, postmenopausal

women, age ≧ 65 years old).

METHOD

A self-controlled trial was conducted. The subjects were informed to consume 1 pack of the sample before meal daily for 3 months. The bone density values and blood samples were collected at month 0 and month 3. The self-assessment questionnaires were collected at month 0, month 1 and month 3.

TEST ITEM

•Bone density scan-spine (Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry, DEXA): T-score, Z-score

• Bone markers: serum beta-Crosslaps (ꞵ-CTx) level

• Self-assessment questionnaire: WOMAC Osteoarthritis index
